Research Residency - Open Studio with Amira Lamti
On Thursday, February 26, join us for a late night open studio with Amira Lamti for Ndogou [break of feast] from 6pm to 8pm.
On this occasion Tunisian artist Amira Lamti will present her ongoing research surrounding Soukeurou Koor, the custom of offering ‘Ramadan sugar’ to those close to you originally intended as an expression of solidarity, and invites you to join her for Ndogou, to break the fast together.
This residency is part of a second edition of Nessij’s Cross-research Residency Program for visual artists between Senegal and Tunisia, also in collaboration with La Boîte, Centre d’art et d’architecture, Tunis.
