Selebe Yoon collaborates with ENAMC Dakar

Selebe Yoon is pleased to announce its collaboration with The National School of Arts and Cultural Professions (ENAMC) of Dakar.

The National School of Dakar, born under the cultural policy of Senghor, was first established as a Conservatory in 1948. From Professor Pierre Lods, founder of the Poto-Poto Blues school, to the classes of Iba Ndiaye, this school has witnessed the emergence of renowned Senegalese artists and continues to welcome many students in Dakar.

In partnership with the École Nationale des Arts et Métiers de la Culture (ENAMC) in Dakar, Selebe Yoon is developing bridges and a strong dialogue with students. This synergy aims to support young creators from the art school and connect them with professional, active cultural venues. By developing a program of artists engaged in pedagogy and major cultural figures, Selebe Yoon offers meetings, lectures, screenings, and workshops led by artists directly within the school.

Furthermore, students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a living and multifaceted contemporary culture through internships offered during key moments of the Dakar exhibition calendar, allowing them to better understand the processes of staging an exhibition. The variety of knowledge taught at the School finds a direct echo in this exchange, which is broadly open to all artistic disciplines as well as cultural professions (cultural mediation, art exhibition preparation, communication, installation, art).
