Performance - "INVISIBLETOWHOM Arc 2" by Pap Souleye Fall on April 18, 2026, at CAPC Bordeaux

For L'Académie des Mutantes, the Senegalese-American artist Pap Souleye Fall reactivates his alter ego Dead Pixel. Wandering through the nave dressed in a costume designed specifically for the occasion, Pap Souleye Fall extends and embodies his research into Afrofuturist imaginaries. In his works, the artist often uses reclaimed or recycled materials — cardboard, wood, textiles — as well as video screens and digital components. This hybridization between the physical and digital worlds is embodied through his alter ego Dead Pixel, whom he reactivates for L’Académie des Mutantes in the performance titled INVISIBLETOWHOM Arc 2.

The performance will take place at CAPC Bordeaux, France on April 18, 2026 at 8pm, as part of the late night opening for L’Académie des Mutantes, the Capc’s festival of performances and hybrid forms. This year’s edition resonates with the universe and work of Rammellzee.
